MAG's History

McConkey Auction Group (MAG) may be new to Alaska, but our roots in the wholesale auto auction industry run deep. We’ve been helping dealers buy and sell inventory since Bob McConkey Sr. co-founded South Seattle Auto Auction, Washington State’s first wholesale auto auction in 1953. Today, MAG’s Pacific Northwest auction locations include DAA Seattle (Auburn, WA), and DAA Northwest (Spokane, WA).

Anticipating the marketplace’s need for a hybrid remarketing solution combining digital and physical auction services, we launched MAG Now in January of 2020.

MAG has proudly served the dealers of the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. Now we’re ecstatic to be heading north to Anchorage!   • Choose the Buyer Protection Plan at check-out on your eligible purchases
