We saw a slight bounce back in market demand coming out of the Independence Day holiday. Several consignors saw an increase in retention over prior weeks, including Honda and Acura Remarketing which converted at 100%. While we have felt what seems to be a true “summer market” the past few weeks, we are still hearing that retail traffic remains steady in our region – even with continued limited supply. We have seen dealer trade consignment increase marginally over the past month and anticipate that the consignment segment will be the primary source of inventory moving into the fall.
Our Beat the Heat promotion is coming up soon on August 11th. We are gearing up for 400+ units with a large contingent of in-state and out-of-market buyers in attendance. We will be drawing at the end of the sale for two lucky dealers to join us on an all-inclusive golf trip to Spokane during DAA Northwest’s signature promotional event, the Rock & Roll Sale on August 25th and 26th.
