September 11, 2023 | Market Insights from Joe LeMonds
Here in Seattle, we have seen the market continue its attempt to stabilize. While new car inventory has increased at our partner locations, there is an underlying concern surrounding future production at the OEM level. In turn, this has caused a slight uptick in demand and valuations. Retail traffic remains well below its peak this year, but our buyers are still looking for opportunities to buffer themselves in the event of future shortages. Repossession volume has climbed to an all-time high at DAA Seattle, and our team adjusts daily to meet the needs and expectations of our commercial consignors.
Coming off a record-setting Salmon Sale on September 1st, the DAA team worked diligently to put together another big sale during a short holiday week. It is incredible to see the amount of effort and enthusiasm our team puts into making DAA Seattle the place to be every week.
As September comes to a close and we look to Q4, we are constantly looking for opportunities to enhance your experience here. Working smarter, not harder, is our mantra, and each DAA team member is committed to identifying ways to improve the customer experience for each of you.
Our next promotional event will be the Fall Classic Moose Sale on October 6th. We are already anticipating another huge consignment offering and cannot wait to see both new and familiar faces. Thank you to our partners for your continued support and to the DAA Seattle team for your ongoing dedication.
See you in the lanes and online!
