Benefitting The Auburn Food Bank, Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest Graham Women’s Campus, The Arc of King County, and Auburn City Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Help us raise $50,000 … we'll match the first $25,000!

Since opening our doors in 2013, DAA Seattle has embraced MAG’s shared mission to serve the greater community. Our team has a deep passion for providing support, service, and a positive influence on others in need. As such, we have developed partnerships with local community organizations that assist individuals and families challenged with social unrest.

Please join us in supporting four organizations in conjunction with our Helping Hands Sale. DAA Seattle will match up to $25,000 of your contributions to support The Auburn Food Bank’s Financial Assistance Program, Adult & Teen Challenge’s PacWest Graham Women’s Campus, The Arc of King County, and Auburn City Seventh-day Adventist Church. If you wish to participate in our Helping Hands Fundraiser, just fill out and submit the brief donation form below and a member of our team will be in touch. We’ll accept donations from Friday, June 5th until Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Our choice of organizations stems from some of our own past life experiences when we needed the support that their programs provide. Additionally, many of us have loved ones who have battled hunger, homelessness, addiction, and social injustice. Giving back allows us to show our gratitude to these vital nonprofit partners.

Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest Graham Women’s Campus

Located in Graham, Washington, this campus provides residential, long-term recovery and discipleship for women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Current initiatives include:

  1. Classroom Expansion and Remodel
Our current classroom is an original two-car garage that was converted into a learning space many years ago. To better serve the women in our program, we are beginning a major remodel that includes:

    • Installing new trusses for structural improvement
    • Expanding the space to create a larger, more functional classroom
    • Adding dedicated office space for staff support and counseling
    • Creating a more welcoming and effective learning environment
  2. Safety and Facility Improvements
We are also replacing our existing wraparound deck, which is outdated and has areas that are no longer safe. This project is essential to ensure the safety of everyone who visits and participates in our programs.
  3. Sustaining Operations and 2026 Goals
In addition to capital improvements, we are seeking support to help meet our 2026 operating budget so we can continue providing quality services for the women we serve. We currently have 19 women living at the campus, this includes students in the one year residential program and interns that decided to stay on for an additional year.

Auburn City Seventh-Day Adventist Church

  • This church is one of the only—if not THE ONLY—location in Auburn where people can go to get a hot shower, clothing, and a meal. The church opens its doors to people in need every Tuesday.
  • Unreliable transportation is a leading cause of homelessness; without it, people often lose their jobs, cannot get their children to school, etc. Pastor Ofa and his congregation purchase vehicles as they are able and also request donations of vehicles. They provide these vehicles to families and individuals who no longer have reliable transportation.
