Market Insights: DAA Las Vegas and Reflecting Back on 2021

December 13, 2021 | Market Insights from DAA Las Vegas’ Joe LeMonds.

As the Christmas and New Year holidays approach rapidly, I have been reflecting on the incredible amount of change and progress we’ve experienced in 2021. Just over a year ago, MAG entered the Las Vegas Market. That brought a renewed sense of excitement and possibility to the staff and customer base here at DAA Las Vegas. The momentum was sizeable as we welcomed what we hoped would be a prosperous year. As the months passed, we weathered uncertainty, scarcity, COVID variants, and numerous other obstacles. The resilience of our team and our partners has been incredible to witness. Across every department, our team took initiative and pivoted when circumstances demanded. Our dealer partners have been even more resilient and inventive as they continue operating under demand that outpaces availability.

At the auction level, DAA Las Vegas has been blessed to see incremental growth even in a shrinking market. The relationships with our partners have continued to solidify and our buyer base has evolved significantly from what it was 12 months ago. Our physical footprint has expanded to increase our capacity for growth and development. We have streamlined our strategic partnership with EBlock here in the local market. Our dealers now have a multi-faceted venue where they can buy or sell based on how they best operate their business. Our partnership will continue to develop, giving us the true ability to meet our customers where they are.

Looking ahead to 2022, we feel a tangible excitement and anticipation for what is to come. But I would be remiss if I didn’t pause to thank everyone who has supported us this past year. Our coworkers and peers within MAG, EBlock partners, commercial account relationships, and faithful dealer partners have all been the reason we have seen growth and change. We couldn’t do it without you, and we will continue to welcome your support moving forward.

Here’s wishing you, your families, and loved ones a blessed and joyous Holiday Season.

In the meantime, I’ll see you in the lanes!
